Story:

Gotham City has fallen to ruin and decay, more so than ever before as a result of a half year absence by the Dark Knight himself. The Gotham Police Force has proven itself incapable of keeping the infamous Rogue Gallery from taking the city, and some of its citizens. Commissioner Gordon has tried his hardest, kept optimistic, but even with the Dark Knight now returned the city is in danger from not only old faces, but a new line of criminals and psychopaths that have chosen the city as their battle ground and possible kingdom.

The criminal mastermind known as Scarecrow rules over the majority of the Narrows, which are now forsaken. The Gotham Police Department has abandoned the area to fear and destitution. Arkham Asylum had once been seized by the Scarecrow as his breeding ground for Fear, but a recent police raid—a message that the police force is slowly regaining confidence in light of the return of Batman—forced him to move and left many police officers horrified and dead as the monster known as Scarebeast made a reappearance. Currently Scarecrow’s whereabouts are unknown, but he’s not alone anymore.

The Joker has escaped from Blackgate Penitentiary and together with his long time girlfriend and partner Harley Quinn they reside at Axis Chemical Plant, where he has vast resources to produce his deadly Smilex Gas and toxic Joker Venom. Since his escape he has been uncannily quiet which puts both Batman and the police on edge for what he may be planning.

Yet with his absence, all the Rogues and new faces have made Gotham even more dangerous place and this time Batman may not be enough.

Information:

Along with several OCs and other canon characters, I play Batman and Linda “Fright” Friitawa, however recently I felt I couldn’t play to the best of my abilities and have decided to offer for adoption in the role-play. We would love some more canon villains and heroes (there is a canon list on the site listing both claimed and free characters) all other canons not listed would have to be approved.

Basically the city and only the city is based off the Nolan style batman series. The character is yours to do with what you wish within the realms of the comics/movies/video games.

You are given the opportunity to make the character yours. For example, if you where using the Joker, say you wanted to use the look of the Nolan verse but play him like he is in the Video game Batman: Arkham Asylum, you could.

The only thing we ask Is that the play-by is a real person not a image from the comics. For The use of Costumes Comics/Drawings are allowed. For example, there Are several people that been used to portray the Scarecrow: Jeffery Combs, Crispin Glover, Cillian Murphy and Wes Bently. As long as you think the person fits the character, Use them as long as no one else is using them (We have a faceclaim list). User Names should be the actual name of the character, not the alias or your own name, unless that character has a recognizable one like Jack White for the Joker or Batman for Bruce Wayne. (Only Admins change a person’s character’s name. They can change passwords/emails for those characters that have been used and abandoned).

Original characters are Welcome, but we reserve the right to deem a character unfit and either deny the application or ask you to modify it. Only will that happen If we feel the character is a "mary-sue" or several other reasons that are slipping my mind at the moment.

Just to warn you, it is a literary roleplay that ranges from PG-13 to R, we use actors/actresses for our characters, and no chat speak or God-Moding
